Secondary Students (Junior)

This class is suitable for total beginners; 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd year students (post-primary). It can be taken as support for your French learning or give you an option to take up French in 5th year as an additional language.

Class is small with lots of opportunities to develop your oral French skills in a safe, authentic and supportive environment. It will give a solid foundation for the Leaving Certificate oral skills.

Students might want to sit the DELF examination, an internationally recognised language certificate.

Secondary Students (Senior)

Immersion trip preparation class for senior cycle (TY and 5th year).

Our weekly classes will help students to develop their language skills in order to make the most of a possible immersion experience in June 2027.

The class can also be taken on its own. There is no obligation to attend the immersion trip.

Adult Class A2/B1/B2

€20 per class + €20 for book

A class for adults who wish to return to French and consolidate their language skills.

The class will take a step by step approach to help you (re)gain confidence and competence in French.

It will give you the possibility to move to the conversation class or to sit the DELF (all levels), a world recognised certificate which would allow study or work in a French speaking country (e.g. Erasmus Year).

Primary Students

This class is suitable for total beginners (primary). Students will learn the basics of the French language.

Class is small with lots of opportunities to develop French oral skills in a safe, authentic and supportive environment. It will give a solid foundation for Post-Primary French.

Students might want to sit the DELF examination for Primary students, a internationally recognised language certificate.

Leaving Certificate Preparation Class

Intensive 2-hour Leaving Certificate preparation class with Mme Travers, a native teacher with over 25 years experience in Irish schools and very strong track record of results.

Adult Conversation Class B1/B2

€15 per class

A class open to all French language lovers who wish to improve, expand and practice their conventional French.

The conversations will be facilitated with topics, preparation notes and occasional French cultural evenings.
